Two Six Technologies had a wonderful time as a Sponsor at the Technica Hackathon, the world’s largest hackathon for underrepresented genders, hosted annually by students at the University of Maryland. Two Six’s Michelle Cabahug and Sadie O’Neill presented a TechTalk on “Making Connections Through Technology” to the next generation of brilliant hackers. We offered a prize for “Best Conversation Hack,” challenging the students to show the misrepresentation of groups in STEM using data from online conversations. The stories and submissions were so compelling that there was a tie for first place. A great event!
