Last week, we posted Evidence Package 3 for Device 001, which consisted of detailed CT scans of the device. These 3D scans were taken after the board had been depopulated in order to provide a clear view of the board traces. It has been requested that we pause further work on Device 001 to give everyone a little more time to recover the netlist from the scanned traces and reconstruct the schematic. We will also complete those tasks on our end and post our results, along with the device photos, ultimately revealing the actual device.
This week, we will take a look at another object. We remind you that “What Is It Wednesday” is focused on the artifacts surrounding object identification and analysis.
